Welcome to the 2018 Canning Softball Association winter competition. Teams who participated in the 2017 winter competition, are now invited to nominate for the 2018 Winter competition. Season Details:
Delegates Meeting: Monday 26th March at 7.30PM
Season Opening Round: Saturday April 7th
Finals: September 1st, 8th and 15th
Association Windup: September 22nd
There will be a general bye over the WA Day long weekend on June 2nd.
Fees for the winter season competition will remain the same as 2017 and will be $1000 per team, reduced to $900 if paid in full by the 21st April 2018.
Given the popularity of the women's competition, priority will be given to returning teams from the 2017 season, with a waitlist established for new teams. Returning 2017 women's teams will need to confirm they are returning by Friday March 2nd. If any teams have not responded by this date, it will be assumed your club/team is not returning and your position will be opened up to new teams on the waiting list. New teams are still encouraged to nominate as the waitlist will be prioritised as first in, first served.
Nominations close off on FRIDAY 9TH MARCH 2018 and only fully completed forms (including full team list) will be accepted as a valid nomination. There will be a meeting with all delegates held Monday 26th March at 7.30PM - location to be confirmed. All scorecards, scorebooks, gameballs and fixtures will be handed out on this evening so your attendance on the night is required. |
